Grand National
On your marks, get set, go!
The Grand National is always a highlight of the year here at Posh Pads! Not only do we love the hustle and bustle around Liverpool on Grand National Day, but we love seeing our visitors at Posh Pads all dressed up looking amazing for Ladies’ Day!
The 2023 Grand National at Aintree will showcase three days of top-class racing, including the world-famous steeplechase on the 15th April!
Eurovision 2023
We’ve been waiting for it’s return since 1998, and we’re so excited that Liverpool is hosting!
The 67th Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted at the Liverpool Arena, on behalf of Ukraine. The Semi-Finals will take place on Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th May, with the prestigious Grand Final taking place on Saturday 13th May.
We can’t wait to see our streets filled with avid Eurovision fans.. and we’ll definitely be putting up the flags for the event!
M&S Bank Arena
We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add the M&S Arena in general in our Posh Pads Picks this year!
The M&S Arena are hosting so many incredible acts and events in 2023! Liverpool will be inviting Gymnastics British Championship in March, Strictly Come Dancing the professionals in May, Disney 100, celebrating 100 years of Disney in June, Queen reliving Wembley ’86 in September and so much more!
International Beatleweek Festival
We are counting down the days for the International Beatleweek festival, which celebrates one of the most famous bands in the world …but they’re bringing it home to the city where it all began!
Live music is the focus of Beatleweek with live music on the Cavern’s three stages, all day, every day but Cavern City Tours will also be taking you around the various venues around Liverpool to really feel the Beatle experience!
The event will have 70 bands, from over 20 countries and is sure to take you on a magical mystery tour back to the 60s!
On The Waterfront Festival
The festival to kick off the Summer Season!
This incredible event is back after its 2022 success with a series of stunning shows and live performances with some headliners acts who are our own Liverpool’s homegrown heroes!
The festival takes place right in front of the iconic Three Graces and we know this will cement the kick off to summer celebrations!
Creamfields
We love Creamfields weekend! Our Posh Pads guests start the celebrations early whilst staying with us for the bank holiday weekend!
After their biggest celebration to date in 2022 to celebrate their 25th anniversary, Creamfields North returns to the fields of Daresbury, Cheshire in 2023. Renowned for having some of the biggest names in electronic music, the 4 day weekend is packed full of dancing, singing your heart out and our favourite part, having the BEST outfit you’ll wear all year!
The Open Golf 2023
One of the biggest events in sport, the Open Golf is returning to Hoylake this year after 9 years and we can’t wait to welcome guests from all parts of the world for the 151st Open.
Posh Pads Apartments is the perfect place to stay during The Open, just a short train journey from Royal Liverpool where The Open will be held, you can continue the celebrations in the city of Liverpool on your return each day!
Liverpool Biennial
The Liverpool Biennial is one of the largest festivals of contemporary visual art in the UK.
Taking place across city’s public spaces, galleries and historic buildings, the festival showcases incredible artists work in the context of Liverpool.

One of the most feel-good festivals in the country, the Reminisce Festival is making it’s return in September at Sherdley Park less than 30 minutes from us here at Posh Pads!
Fire-breathers, stilt walkers and live performances from incredible artists.. this is an event not be missed!
Liverpool PRIDE 2023
We’re ready for our streets to be packed full of colour again for another year of PRIDE, Liverpool in July!
Pride in Liverpool is one of the largest pride festival in Europe and we loved every second of joining in last year with the march through the streets of Liverpool.
We’re already planning our outfits for this event and can’t wait to welcome our guests for the packed full weekend!
